IQ Tests. How reliable?

my IQ is higher than average, and i still went to prison and work a crappy job......and i also waste time posting in useless internet threads.

IQ tests are very reliable, but not as reliable as evaluating one's ability to put together a grammatically accurate and correctly spelled post.

Internet-based IQ tests are not reliable at all. I've gotten scores from the few I took online coming in around 135-160 at different times. Totally off the wall, IMNSHO.

100 is supposed to be average, standard deviation is generally about 15.

Anything below 80 and the general public is going to be rolling their eyes at you behind your back... oddly enough, the same thing happens when you are over 140ish.
