Ipod wired directly to Bit One

Anyone have an easy solution to install an iPod directly to an Audison Bit One.

I am hoping to connect directly from the 32 pin connector and convert somehow to the TSOLINK on the Bit One.

I was hoping to use one of these

HA INFO U2 Native 24bit/96k USB to SPDIF/TOSLINK Converter (dts ,AC3) | eBay

but not sure if it would work.

30-pin out from iPod/iphone to USB connect to the above device or similar
