Ipod Warranty Question

So I just bought an ipod touch on ebay and was offered the square trade warranty for 35 bucks. Basicly it extends it by 1 year.

Is it worth?

Since its a flash drive and nothing mechanical moving, I don't think there is anything i need to worry about.

Only thing im worried about is the touch screen going out or the battery which i don't think the battery is ever covered in a warranty.

Anyways, what do you guys think? should i go for it?

will it cover accidental damage? (dropping it/cracked screen, water damage, etc)

warranty pretty good. i got mine from Bestbuy and one month later it stopped playing out the head phones. and they did not even test it, they just handed me a new one.

iPods fail all the time ... The failure rate is actually pretty disgusting ...

get the insurance from square trade. i bought a soundstream pca2000d off ebay and got 2yrs of additional warranty from squaretrade. that amp took a dump on me within 3 months. Soundstream wouldn't warrenty the product, Squaretrade did, and gave me a full refund after they received the broken amp.

amp started sending out a D/C signal to my sub, no protect, just started sending out D/C.
