I have just ordered an ipod. Although I have already got the external aux input box from Sony-> http://www.crutchfield.com/S-umWOVrHHM75/cgi-bin/ProdView.asp?i=158XA300&search=xa-300 . I’m intending on using a phono to rca lead to connect from the ipod to the aux-in. The thing is this is going to look ugly with wires hanging out from the top every where. Has anyone been able to do a nice clean install. I was just wondering if anyone knows of a product which will connect everything up nicely. Also I have a usb input on this aux inbox its not the same size as a normal one but I might be able to do something with this

Why dont you just save money and buy one of the monster cables or any rca to speaker wire cables and just plug it into the back of your headunit and all you have to do is turn on your auxilary input rca's if you have any //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif . Also the cable is only about 18 bucks.

i would recommend getting the belkin car connection. by using that, you'll only have one connection from the ipod. you connect your 1/8" plug to rca wire at the other end of the belkin. you can get a aux cig lighter to plug you belkin into. everything can be hidden behind the dash to make a very clean install.

here's an idea of what i will look like
