I want to play my ipod through my 01' dodge intrepid. it has a stock cd player headunit from dodge. i dont want to use the cig lighter plug in radio station thing i want to hook it up directly to my headunit with hard wires. how can i do this?

I don't think you will be able to with the stock equipment. If you had a simple aftermarket head unit with aux input you would be able to in a second.

Check out the Harmon Kardon Drive n Play. It has a simple to use control that mimics the ipod and it also has it's own separate screen. it's a very nice unit and it is as easy to use as the ipod itself. it uses a wireless fm mod out of the box, but HK has a wired kit especially for the drive n play that costs $10-$15 dollars. That may be your best option w/o springing for a new h/u. I've seen em for around $150 for the entire kit.

check out my FS thread... i've got an aux adapter that probably will work for your car //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif
