Ipod help

I know I should probably know this but is there anyway that i can put songs in a playlist and not have them in the main list of songs? I want to put the whole EMNB cd on my ipod but they're all 'Track 1,2, 3, 4, 5, and so on' and on the 4th cd there's 80 tracks lol so I dont really want it on my main list but I'd like to have it in a playlist, anyone that can help?
