okkay i need help eith my ipod. i have downloaded the newest version of itunes, and limewire. i have downloaded movies off limewire but i dont know how to get them on the ipod.

this is freeware. never used it though. they usually don't put software that's crap on the site though.

yeah i used videora9 but it tkaes forever,. is there something faster

i havent found any faster, i have the same complaint, they take forever, but ive noticed they really all take forever.

video transcription takes forever, especially format-to-format

my only advice would be to try and find the source files you want to convert in the same same codec, and use the conversion process to simply resize them, that would be much faster. for example, when you compress a dvd-9 to a dvd-5 for dvd duplication to a regular 4.7 gig disc, it only takes about 45 minutes to transcode a 2 hour movie with 3.6 ghz, becaue you're transcoding from mpeg2 to mpeg 2.

But if i have a divx file with an avi transport, it will take me at LEAST the full playtime of the video to transcode the divx-encoded file to an mpeg-2 file with the same 3.6ghz computer

yep. sometimes you can download mp4's which is alot faster when converting for ipod.
