ipod help..

For season reason when i plug in my usb chord to my computer nothing pops up or nothing on itunes changes..

you probably need a new chord, thats what happened to mine.

like.. the chord connects to my charger and that works.. so im confused

maybe click "start" -----> "My Computer"-----> "ipod"-> (or something like that)

maybe the default auto setting was tuned off somehow.

go into itunes and check your preferences

Did you run the Ipod program that comes with it? (Not Itunes BTW).

yea all of them only come with an itunes CD, you set it up through Itunes

maybe its formatted for a mac... i noticed that i cant use mine on a pc cause i set it up on my mac

you can use a pc formatted ipod on a pc or a mac but u can only use a mac formatted one on a mac

If your plugging it in and not getting the ding of a new USB device prompt my guess is it isnt PC compatible. regardless of having the driver cd, it sound like your not even getting prompted for drivers. try another USB port or even another computer.
