IPOD 'click'

I can't figure it out, I've been having an issue with the IPOD for awhile where in only on certain songs I download, the song will play find then there will start to be a loud 'clicking sound' playing in music. Sometimes it will be steady, sometimes it'll get louder or softer, sometimes it goes away and comes back. Sounds kinda like if you rode a bycicle at different speeds with a playing card stock on the back axle so it hits the spokes of the wheel.

No matter how many times I restore or get the song again from the same CD it does the same thing. I can play it off the CD or off my computer and it's fine, when I try to play it through my 80 gig IPOD on my Alpine CD 9883 with direct connect, I occasionally get the click. Just wondering if anybody else has gotten the same problem. I searched IPOD related forums high and low, found some mention of this problem, but have never seen any sort of a fix mentioned. There just seem to be some problems with these things that there are no solutions for yet.

ditch the ipod when your playing full tilt its been proven iphones distort and send a clipped signal at full volume.

CD's FTW

Shooot radio has better quality than ipods...

I only use my ipod when just playing some music w/o too much bass

That's like the argument that LPs have better sound quality than CDs.

You, my friend, must learn about bit rate. In no way is radio better quality than iPod if your music is sampled in the correct bit rate. 128kbps is "CD Quality", but sounds like @ss to me. I don't have any music sampled under 192kbps, and usually shoot for 220+kbps.
