i have this cable and when i try to listen to music and charge the ipod at the same time i get a annoying hissing noise. if i pull the fuse in the 12v wire that charges the ipod it goes away completely and it sounds great.

i took the switched power from the red ignition wire behind the head unit so the ipod will turn on when i turn the key on.

i read for 12v fans and someone said you can use the midrange channel of a passive crossover to filter the noise out. i have some eclipse passive xovers laying around so can i use one to filter the hissing out or is there any better/other ways?
