ipod adapters and 60gb w/video

anyone know/using an ipod w/your in dash video? if so does it transfer the ipod video or is that not possible w/the adapter?

I haven't seen anything that would make it possible.

Would look TERRIBLE if you ask me. Remember that iPod videos are compressed down to a 2x3 inch rectangle -- not a 7" in-dash.

Not true. The software that I use had the option to keep the aspect ratio. However, it will not work because Ipod uses the propriotary Mpeg4 compressoin.

IIRC Clarion's new video units will interface with iPod Video

Keeping the same 16:9 aspect ratio and keeping the same size (resolution) are COMPLETELY different.
