iPhone with Head unit

Hey I got a question.

I recently bought a 8GB iPhone and I was wondering if I would have any problems playing it with my Deck. I got a Pioneer 6900. I got a usb with the iPod adaptor cord to it so i can hook the iPod up and control it through the deck.

i could control the ipod feature on mine only. I have an 8gb hooked up with a kca-420i to my d310.
