IP-Bus inter connector question

hi

i want to hook my mp3 player up to the back of my Pioneer deck. i bought the CD-RB20 (RCA to IP-BUS inter connector) and installed it. however, i have a question about wiring.

there are 4 wires on the small unit.

1.ground - black

2.IP-BUS cable which plugs into the deck

3. Orange >> to a terminal always supplied with power regardless of ignition switch position (i have this tapped into my external EQ wire which is the same.. it has the in-line fuse on this wire)

4. THIS IS WHERE IM CONFUSED?? >>> there is ANOTHER orange wire. in the instructions it says : "Connect to multi-CD unswitched power supply"

where should i connect this OR do i even need to? it has a little female connector on the end of it as well. it came like that from pioneer. i dont have a cd changer, ONLY deck and external EQ. im replacing my cd changer with the mp3 so does this mean i leave it unconnected???

just leave it un connected if you are not going to be using a cd changer.
