Inverting multiple subs?

Any time you reverse the mounting position of a speaker, if you wish its relative phase to remain the same, its polarity MUST be reversed. This is not limited to isobaric setups.

Ok, if my subs sound the same as they did BEFORE I inverted one, how do I tell if I am having cancellation?

I ask because they do sound the same as they did (as far as loudness and sq) when they both were mouted inside the box.

The differences may be so small that you have a hard time hearing them without doing an A/B comparison.
