80% of the forums out there require registration. That forum gets many more posts than this one and you're missing out if you dont register. I've seen some impressive installs over there...

Apparently you don't understand the amount of knowledge that the people on that board possess. 10x the amount found here.

Just log in and check out the technical section alone over there........you'll be lucky if you can even comprehend most of it (not saying you are stupid, but it's some pretty indepth shit)

I tried registering for that board before.... I have my user/pass, it says "thanks for logging in", then spits me back out at the "please login" page.

No, that board does have it's fair share of glitches, and that seems to be a common one. Check your cookie settings, or try creating a new log in

bullshit. i've been around too, and a very small minority of forums require registration to view topics. most forums require regitsration to post, but not to view topics.
