Cause Firefox has the potential to viewing numerous ************ sites on various tabs without cluttering the taskbar. Firefox also has better security features that prevent the government from finding out if your looking at ***********.

I double click IE and im online. Many service providers don't include a browser in their broadband.

i use firefox for all the extra extentions i can add to it. basicly i can customize the browser based on my personal preference on what i do and dont want to see. like wheni view myspace i hate those ****ed flash video's so those are blocked, also tabs are handy, adblocker, weather updates, etc...

It's still Internet Explorer.
So when you say, "why are people using extra browsers like internet explorer?" you're way off the mark; Because internet explorer is the default, and most widely used browser on the planet.
We use other ones because
a) it sucks
b) it's entangled in too may other microsoft services; Outlook, MSN, etc.
c) it doesn't have some much needed features

like stated before ie is simply the default browser in windows and isp companies simply brand it with thier own logo or what ever. ( you can do this yourself and make it say anything you want).thats what you see on most isp's homepage. firefox is simply a better browser than IE and its free .
