Internet explorer is my actual browser:fyi: , I have a cable connection which my provider uses IE

But if my connection had another browser I'd probably use that/have before

i just notice everytime you guys take pics of your computer screen it is either firefox or internet explorer which are just free downloaded programs so why not use your actual internet providers homepage thing. like sbcglobal, aol, earthlink etc.. i figured maybe theres some advantage that im not aware of.

I have dsl. I double-click internet explorer and bam, I am on the internet

Wow you fukin idiots im not stating a fact that you have to use a paticular browser im asking a question if using ie or ff is better in some way then using the actual internet providers browser. i just didnt get why alll you guys would pay for a paticular browser and then just use ff or ie.

When you have DSL or cable (I suppose it works the same way) you don't get that stuff you get with AOL, etc. I pay for a connection to the interent. I don't get chat, and all the other stuff you get with AOL. I don't want those things.

Usually you will see Intenet Explorer, provided by (your ISP)

I don't really know how to explain it. I don't log on to anything.

But most of the people I know dont use like AOL or erols. or whatever. I know comcast didnt come with any "browsers" or anything. Just plug in your modem and use what you have.

Yeah but thats the same for me im paying for the dsl connection and it automatically uploaded sbcglobals browser thing to my computer. so thats what i use but when i saw you guys using ie and ff and many of you dl vids i thought maybe in some way it was safer or quicker to use ie or ff but i guess not.

Also you arent really paying for the browser that comes with it. I see it as you are paying for the service and they give you that as a bonus.
