International shipping. any tips?

Ship it as a gift, make the value of it as low as possible. I had a friend who had to ship a set of wheels out somewhere to the middle east, and he had to fill out a form. Its nothing big, Just make sure you package it well, Check the box as a gift-customs wont really bother searching through it, and make sure u set the value in the price box low.

and if the shit gets lost then you get insurance for the valued amount of what you declared it to be worth for customs...no thanx

How in this world can a post office determine how much duty cutoms is going to charge.. Get your facts straight!!

And you could get stuck paying duties and taxes...make sure you get recipient pays all duties and taxes or you could owe a bunch...I am with kove, don't ship intl unless it is life or death...Just not worth the problems and potential for being scammed...JMHO
And shipping to Canada is not exactly like shipping to Nigeria.. now is it? And to the person who talks about Canada as a scam? maybe you should look at your yourself before you point a finger at others....

Here's a link that everyone should read if shipping to Canada..

No, shipping to canada is just as bad though, it is considered intl and **** shipping intl...Just not worth it to ship to anywhere other then the US...

Thats my opinion and has nothing to do with canadians or nigerians etc...Just too many headaches to deal with when someone in my own country will buy it and pay the same amount without converting money and duties/taxes, and all the BS...
