internal bracing

im going to be building a box for someone pretty soon for a 15" brahma

its a pretty big box and they want it internaly baraced

whats the best way to go about doing this, metal or wood and how should i do it?

2x4's work pretty well, the idea is to build sturcture on sides that might flex, and it is pretty hard to flex a 2x4

can i just build the box then frame the inside with like 2x2's?

If you make it out of 3/4" MDF, and caulk and nail it well, you won't need too much bracing. I say just put L brackets in the corners, it should be fine.

2x2's work good but you gotta take in to count how much air space they will take up and add that to the total size of the box

other wise you will end up with not enough air space
