internal amplifier and Sound Quality/9835 Wiring

First off,

I have just received an alpine 9835 and was thinking about running my rears off of the deck and my comps off of the 3 way (with amps). I was wondering if there would be a great deal of SQ difference with the alpine internal amp on or off (if there is im just going to just sacrifice the rears).

Second off,

It says that for the 9835 there needs to be a 10 ga wiring to the battery (for the v-link internal amp). The deck i have right now has a higher gauge wiring, i was wondering if i could just use the existing one (seeing as im only powering rear speakers) or if i should run separate wiring....
