why does a Rockfard 500/1 and a kenwood 500/1 (was at bestbuy when i was messing around with this stuff) out perform a power acoustik 560/1@ 4 ohms?

It was a very noticeable difference... yet the power acoustik was suposed to give more juice :/

You can't tell anything from a soundboard at Best Buy. The amp could be hooked up incorrectly, it could be starved for power, someone could have blown a channel, the settings might be completely jacked up, etc. etc.

But, in reality....that PA is likely overrated some, while the Kenwood and Rockford are going to put out their rated power if not a little more.
