installing tweeters, do i have to drill??

Are you putting the midbass in the doors? Kick panels? You have some choices ... right above the midbass, up in the top of the door, A pillar ...

Some people say you need to have the tweeter within 6" or 12" away from the midbass ... take that like a grain of salt ... there are sound quality champions with tweeters mounted on the dash, or in other words, a lot farther away than 6 or 12". What I'm saying is, play around with different locations and see what sounds best to you. After all, you're the one listening to the music //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif

Oh and as for drilling ... you'll usually need to drill a hole to run the wire ... some tweet's have an adhesive backing that will stick to the panel or what-have-you. With other tweet's you'll need to use a hole cutter and follow the directions for mounting in the manual.
