yes, i still have stock amps in my car,

so when i install my amp for my subs, im going to have to splice my remote wire to go to my mono amp

and no you shouldnt need an adaptor, your new hu (if you buy one) will come with a wiring harness

I have a 98 Lexus GS300 with a the stock Pioneer sound system and a stock sub. I used a line output convertor from the stock sub to get a signal for my amp. It works great.. Hope this helps

You will not need any LOCs or any adaptors for that matter. And certainly not a JL CS which is useless in Infinitis/Nissans. Simply splice a set of RCAs into the speaker outs at the HU. It is a flat unamplified signal, same as if using an aftermarket HU. Your just making the preouts rather than having them already there.
