Installing steering wheel audio controls

Hi Guys. Im new to the car audio world. What would it cost to install audio controls on my steering wheel? I have an 07 Hyundai Elantra, with the factory head unit.

You would need something like a PAC-SWIX user interface, if you are installing an aftermarket unit.

Are looking for one for the factory h/u or aftermarket?

does it have 4 or 5 speaker? cd changer or no?what kinda head unit are you wanting to get?

go to crutchfield.com, put in your vehicle info and search for Steering wheel control interface . and go from there. once you get a model number copy and paste it to ebay, and you should be able to get it cheapest there

Wait, do you already have controls and now you are trying to keep them with a new HU, or are you trying to get them in the first place?

The car has six speakers, single CD player. The vehicle does not have audio controls on the steering wheel. I plan on keeping the head unit, I will eventually replace the speakers.

It seems like a big job to remove the steering wheel, and dealing with the air bag.

Oh so you want to add steering controls to a car without them?

There's unlimited ways you can do that, custom fabrication, or just duct tape some buttons on the wheel. How nice it looks and what they do is just up to your imagination.

Installing these things is ghey.
