Am I missing anything?

I have acquired amp, sub, battery, 30' of 1/0 wire, headunit, and alarm. I also have 2 ring terminals made by Monster. I also need a dash kit right? What else?

you need a dash kit. RCA wires. ground wire. sub box?..ha. remote wire ( between headunit and amp). i recommend mounting the amp to something so it doesn't have freedom to move around corners. so, drill + screws. if the amp has holes for them.

Yeah I do need a box still and haven't found a place or builder. Anyone know where to get security screws? How many do you think I should buy?

Install will be in 02 reg cab chevy silverado.

The dashkits I have heard of are Schosche(sp?) is there any other brands I should look into?

Do the dashkits come with the ground wire/remote wire or are these separate? Quality RCA wires?

Should I mount the amp on the back rear wall hanging or keep it on the floor behind seat flat on the ground? You think this is going to depend on box location and most likely things I should be discussing with my installer? All help appreciated

speaker wires, unless you're gonna use the 1/0 something to join the headunit and car wiring harnesses, and....a lotta never-give-up attitude.

When you say speaker wire what is it going to? Is this the same as RCA? How much do I need to buy and where?......

Speaker wire is going from your amp to your sub to power it.. It doesn't have to be very big 8 gauge at most but that also is never really needed. Get some 12 gauge, get about 10' for safe measures to wire your sub and your amp.. Also RCA's are from your HEadunit to the Amp a long with the Remote wire. Knukonceptz.com sells kit with all the needed components for an install..
