installing pac adapter

I bought a oemnis pac adapter that is just plug and play. im just not sure where to plug so i can play. is it possible to just plug it in under the rear deck? i can plug in the wire that run to the amp into the unit, but then what is going to the amp? basically, is there any way to install without taking out the factory unit?

what is it for, steering wheel control or a line out converter?

um, it is to add rca outputs. it maintains use of steering wheel control and factory amp.
