Installing my HO alternator

Alright I'm gonna put my alternator on soon.

It will be on a 94 honda civic.

It says to run a 1/0 wire directly from the battery to the alternator

But what do you do with the factory wire that runs form the underhood fuse box to the alternator?

I know this is a dumb ? but hell i dont wont the crap to burn up.

I assume you just not hook it up.

yeah, hoot up the stock charge wire as well...leave it in it's exhisting area...and run the 1/0 straight to batt along with the stock

What brand is it?

Yeah just leave the stock wire in place and run 1/0 as well.
