installing my eclipse headunit

i just bought an eclipse 8443 from boostedpontiac and im trying to isntall it. with my panasonic 8401u the harness just plugged right into the factory vehicle harness. it doesnt appear to be the same with this eclipse. unplug the harness in your car... cut the panasonic end off... splice in your eclipse harness... plug back into car... all done
