Installing HU?

I ordered my HU and already recieved it ( pioneer deh-p980bt ) but i just ordered my subs and amp today ( JL 10W7, JL 500/1 ) im getting it all professionally installed because im a noob to the car audio stuff i was wondering if it makes a difference if i go get my HU installed now and when my subs and amp come in get that installed after or would it be better to wait and get it all installed? because i dont know how long it will take for my subs and amp to come prob about 2 weeks

dosent really matter but while installin the new headunit i would run rca's and rem. wire, and then you can run power later....

it doesnt matter. i got my HU before everything else, and installed it before the subs/amp were installed.

just make sure your installer knows you are planning on getting an amp and subs and ask him to install what was stated before....rca's, remote wire

okay thanks for the feedback one question tho i know you guys prob gonna laugh but im a newb so what are rca's and remote wire?

Truthfully, I would just wait. I know you're all charged up to get the new stuff in, but just wait. You could have them install the HU and run the power wire from the battery and run the RCAs from the back of the radio. But if you do not know what RCAs and the purpose of remote wire is you will probably have a beech of a time installing the amp and properly tuning it.

Remote wire tells the amps to turn on with your radio.

RCAs i believe send the audio signal into the amp i believe. Amp sends the signal out to the speakers.
