So I have a question geared towards the gurus of caraudio lol. I am thinking about buying some F1 stuff, the DVI, PXI, and TMI, as they all come in a "kit" together. My question is, is it really the best of the best? I want to achieve excellent sound quality, and have video capability. Is that the way to go. I would be getting an excellent deal on all three pieces, prices not going to be shared. I have came across some information on the pioneer ODR, but I need video capabilities. Can the w200/205 paired with the 701 processor even compare? Any help is appreciated.

If I wanted a screen, it is what I would get. 4-way active plus numerous goodies all in one package.

i've heard a car with alpine f1 where it sounds like crap. trust me, if you want SQ, i'd look into more of speaker choices, speaker placement, plenty of power available, and finally tuning (ie enough processing readily available). those 4 will cover more sq than anything.

If you can actually afford everything that is coming with the F1 package. Go for it. You wont be disappointed.

The entire setup that I want can be had, just not all at once, I make enough money to save up, of course speaker placement is free. The speakers that will be bought will more than likely be hertz, as also recommended by don. Amps, not quite sure yet, either TRU, or maybe F1.

yeah I was going to say just PM Don, 6spdcoupe he has the actual setup and would probably help you anyway he could. However, since money isn't growing on trees for me, I would probably only be able to afford the h701 with one of the units that works with it. but the h701 combo is great.

i appreciate all the input you guys have. Lets pretend that you do have the money to buy the f1, would you?
