Installing HU in 95 Ford Ranger

I got a dash install kit locally and put it in my truck. I got the unit all wired up and it works fine, but I'm not sure how to secure it in the dash. I put the faceplate on it and slid it in, but it doesn't really click in place. It doesn't want to stay flush, it wiggles around a little bit. Am i supposed to screw it in somehow?

do you have a metal cage (sleeve)? It should have little pieces of metal that you bend to make it secure, then when you take it out you just bend those back.

Well im just about to do a job on my s10 2000 i can upload pictures what i did just today if you like..

bend all the little things on the sleve mount.

Yeah I just bent the tabs on the sleeve and it's perfect now. I feel dumb now. Thanks guys
