Okay, here is how my system is wired right now: http://xs308.xs.to/xs308/06436/systemwires.png

HU: Pioneer 5800

Sub: 12" Kicker CVR

Amp: Profile AP1000M

Wire Kit: Power Acoustik 4G Kit (http://www.hifisoundconnection.com/Shop/Control/Product/fp/vpid/1605683/vpcsid/0/SFV/30046)

I am getting rid of the stock 4x6's in the front. I am replacing them with 6.5 comps. Still have not decided on which comps, but I have a few in mind.

Comps: ?

Amp: Coustic Audio 2ch 400s (Hey, I got it for free)

Speaker adapters: http://cgi.ebay.com/6-speaker-adapters-for-Cavalier-Sunfire-Grand-Am-NR_W0QQitemZ330043883642QQihZ014QQcategoryZ60208QQcmdZViewItem

Wire Kit: ?

Dist. Block: ?

RCA Splitters: ?

Do I need a new wire kit, dist block, and rca splitters?

Its depends if yout gonna run the new components off the headunit or an external amp. If your getting components I would personally suggest getting another amp to allow the components to reach their potential, but this would cost more. You would need to rewire power w/ split to distro blocks or run dual power and grounds, new 2ch RCA, speaker wire, and component amp of course. If you just want to run them off the headunit, you could use the existing wires but i dont think there will be much improvment Hope this helped to answer your question.

I am going to run them off an amp. So I need another amp kit, correct? Should I just get another 4G amp kit? So I run the new power wire from the new amp to the battery using a dist block. I then run the new ground to a new groud space. I run the new RCA's to the front out puts on my HU. I run the speaker wire from the new amp to the crossovers and from the cross overs to the new speakers.

Does that sound right?

NO....you need to connect your HU to amp then amp to crossovers then crossovers to speakers, you need to find a place to tap into factory wiring when finally connecting them to the speakers from the crossover
