Rewiring Main power/Ground Distro block ?

Can you solve it?
Hi everyone,

I'm about to go outside and redo my main power and ground wire in my trunk. I have been getting a pop from my pre-amp and I'm thinking that they way I have it wired is causing it.

Currently, I have a 2 way distro block that goes to my two amps (nine.1 and a TRU 4.65) but since I added my symmetry pre-amp I wrapped the power wire around the same wire as my sub amp. All of my grounds are connected together and then connected to one spot.

I am thinking about grounding each amp/pre-amp seperatly OR running them all to one distro block and then putting a larger wire to a ground, would that work?

Also, (sorry so many questions) if I wanted to go from a 2 way distro block and take one of the wires to another distro block, can I do that? So one of the wires would be connected to the amp and the other connection on the block would go to yet another block to split up to the amp and to the pre-amp. Is that ok?

Thanks!!

Justin

i would not ground everything spperatly...
I'm glad you said that because I really don't want to drill that much :p

I'll run a distribution block from everything to one ground point then.

I have no feedback now, I just want to clean it up a bit.

How about the power question? Sorry for the pressure, I'm literally waiting for a response to see if I'm ok then headed out :p
