Installing First Processor

I am installing my first sound processor (LC7i) in my wife's Accord.

My question is - is it better to have the processor under the dash and run low level RCA's to the trunk, or run high level from the head unit to the processor in the trunk?

My preference is to have the processor in the trunk, but I was curious if one method was "more correct' than the other.

Thanks!

Put it in the trunk. RCAs can pick up noise from nearby circuits; speaker wires on the inputs cannot pick up noise.
That's what I was thinking...thanks for the confirmation! Now I just need to find the best way to cut the metal of the rear deck to get the 6x9's in, but the rest should be easy.

Thanks for the help....
