Installing An Amp

Is it better to install an amp under the seat to better protect it or behind the back seat? The screws that I use to mount the amps behind the back seat come out at the bottom and I bought some 2.5 inch screws to really drill and dig in the back of the seat well. The 2 bottom screws came out yesterday.

if you are screwing into seat cushion that will happen every time. If you are mounting an amplifier to the back of a seat make sure it has something solid to mount to. Many cars do not have anything solid inside the seat just foam and metal rods that are hard to find when mounting an amplifier thus making it kinda dumb. Many will say that mounting an amplifier under a seat will cause heat issues but ive done hundreds of times and never had an amp return for overheating because the space under the seat was too hot.

so im mounting amps to back seat, ahve mdf board under seat carpet to grip too, but ground running under rear seat wont cause problems will it?
