Installing a toggle switch

Ok basically i have a Hifonics amp hooked up to two subs, now i connected a wire from the 12v battery to the remote slot on the amp. So since i did that the amp is always on and is overheating and i dont want it burning my carpet on my lease. So i have a toggle switch. It has three places where you hook up wires

12v ACC GND

Does anyone know what i connect the acc wire to? Because a switch cant run just on a 12v and a Gnd.

If you're running a 12v system..why dont you just hook the remote wire to a switched 12v source instead of using a toggle?

12V = 12v power source

Acc to Amp

Ground = to a ground
