Installing a LC7i

I plan on putting an audio Control LC7i into my 2004 Acura TSX w/ navi. I have seen people use the PAC AOEM-HON20. I had an idea. Would I be able to find just the wire harness, not the black box, just the wires that plug into the stock radio/navi, and use that to bypass the amp via 9 speed wire to my LC7i? As in, just use the wire harness from the Hon20 kit, and instead of having the harness plugged into the PAC Loc, I cut that piece off, and run speed wire from the now loose wires to my LC7i. This would keep me from cutting a lot of things. Do you guys think it would be worth it?
