Installing 4 channel amp and speakers

I am going to be installing a 4 channel amp and was wondering when im hookin up the speakers with the speaker wire from the amp to the speakers can I hook the rear speakers directly and then the front speakers hook them up by running speaker wire from the amp and connecting it to the speaker wire already running to the speaker meaning the factory wires. Or would it be better off just running the speaker wire through the front door to get to the speaker. The rears are no problem since they are 6x9's and sit in the back so I can just hook them up directly? but would hooking it up to the factory speaker wire for the front speakers be fine. Would it sound fine? Thanks for all the help guys really appreciate it.

I say run new wire front the front to the amp. Its work but I remember reading something about using the factory wiring tho. So I chose to run new wire in my truck... Maybe someone with better know how will come in and point you in the best direction.

I really want to run it directly but it seems very difficult to run it through the grommet/boot in my honda accord. Its so far back its very difficult to reach. Would I hear a big difference if I ran it directly verse running it from the amp to the factory wires?

In most instances the stock speaker wire is extremely small, so running new wiring is essential. If your vehicle is as bad as you say, run the new wire like so:

- Use a really sharp blade to puncture the side of the stock boot.

- Run the new wiring through.

- Wrap the wire tightly with high quality electrical tape.

- Apply wire looming to the new speaker wire.

- Secure things with a few zip ties.

90% of the time, it works every time...

Alright thanks I have a little better understanding now but when Im running the wire through should i remove the boot completly than cut a whole etc? It seems like it's gonna be a difficult task looks like it.

There's no reason to remove the boot if you're just going to poke a hole in it. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

And yes, wiring a vehicle can be a complete pain in the *** sometimes...
