if the factory unit is amplified a loc is not gonna help you because the signal is crossed over, I found this out the hard way.

because when you turn the volume up the bass goes down so kinda works against you.

yea he can you can use a processor like a three sixty or clean sweep after the amplified signal or a loc before the signal is amplified coming off the back of the head unit just use t taps if you are going to do that, oh and I have a re-q for sale because I had the bose system in my car

don't cut is just use t taps with quick disconnects no need to cut.

yea I may just have to tap into the wires in the back of the headunit //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/frown.gif.a3531fa0534503350665a1e957861287.gif bah **** not a big fan of cutting factory harnesses

If you're hooking up subs, then it SHOULD be ok to tap into the stock sub wires. Im not 100% sure though.

If it's not hard to get to try it and find out.
