installation costs?

OK, I am getting my first non-stock system ever. Right now here is the system I'm getting for my FJ Cruiser TRD SE:

Alpine IVA-W205 Head Unit (with Sirius & IPod)

JL Audio VR650CSI 6.5'' Components

JL Audio VR Coax 6.5'' (for back seat fill)

JL Audio 500/5 Amp

JL Audio 12W3 Sub w/ custom enclosure made for the FJ

None of the equipment is "grey market" and the installer has great credentials.

Total Cost as quoted: $3100.

As far as I can tell, the installation cost is approx. $500 (included in the $3100)

Since this is my first system I really could use feedback and help. I know I could do better on equipment cost if I did e-bay or online, but the grey market warranty situation spooks me when you're talking about this kind of investment. And I can't find an installer who will install equipment not purchased from them.

Any thoughts on the system or cost?

Most local shops will do installation for a fee, at least I know places around here will, even if you dont buy from them.

this system is going to be installed tomoro. it includes running power cables and hooking up amps. for the install and the equipment i got 1500. i could have got more but the subs and amps are used.

and here is a pic of the box for transport. its finished with black vinal and has one 6'' aero.

that's pretty expensive. do a little more research on some other items besides the mainstream JL. you can get better products for cheaper.
