Insignia and Infinite Baffle

Hey, I recently (well, a good 2-3 months ago actually) got this package and it was sugested to install it in an infinite baffle setup. Do ya'll figure it's a good call, and the drivers could take it?

And yes, I searched the forums here beforehand about Insignia, and though your general consensus may be that Insignia sucks, I don't have the moeny to get myself some Fi Q or anything like that. $150 with a warrenty for that is enough to make me happy. So please, keep your snide remarks about how they're crap or I wasted my money to yourself, I just want to know, given the information and any first hand knowledge, not opinions, is an IB install a good choice for them?

Fs: 36 Hz

Frequency Responce: 36 Hz-2 KHz

Qts: 0.53

Reccomended enclosure Size: 1.7162928 ft3

Surround Material: Rubber

Should be all the info needed for a general assumption eh? Let me know if you need more.

I would say yeah, although you CAN install it like that...you won't be very pleased with the results. Budget prefab boxes can be had for 40~50 dollars. Of course, if you're low on space and thats why...fiberglassing...but that would be hella expensive if you don't already have the materials.

He hasn't said what he wants, so how do you know he won't like it?

I'd wait for someone to model it up and see how it does. (If given enough T/S specs to do so)

Ew, I wouldn't use a prefab box anyway. I have a nice large sheet of 3/4" MDF just ready for me. The reason the IB install was suggested is because of the specs I have above (Fs, Qts and enclosure size). Size isn't an issue as I have a '91 CHrysler Dynasty, large trunk. But I would have have the IB lead into the cabin through the rear deck, and with the flat (vertical) rear window, there should be good cabin gain, right?
