I've already posted a few times around here before finding this section. I use to be into car audio back in the late 90's and early 2000's. Nothing fancy, just basic head unit, speaker, and sub installs, and always got compliments on how it sounded. I'm getting back into things and turning my Pontiac G6 into something of a project car as time and money permits.
My head unit brand of choice is Pioneer, and I'm a huge MTX fan for speakers and amps. I'm actually still running my two 10" Blue Thunder Xtremes from a Thunder 500D amp. Even after spending a decade in a Maine storage unit and being about 20 years old overall, they still sound as good as new, and that's the kind of quality that had me hooked on them.
Other than that, I'm a trucker by trade, with dreams of a couple 22" MTX Jackhammers in the bunk, just because I have the space and weight capacity. Lol.
