Das ist ein BEFEHL!!
Hi im new to these forums....i have a coupld of questions that need to be answered

1.)If i get a 960watt amp...what would happen if i got a .5 farad capacitor? will the lights still dim? or should i shoot for a 1 farad?

2.) running 960 watts without the capacitor will it kill my battery quickly even if my car running?...i know it would be good to get a new alternator but i dont have the money for it at the moment

3.) this is more of a amplifier question n im just gonna use random numbers if the amp says it has a rms of 125X2 n lets say the sub says 200rms for each one would a issue arise? i have had a rockford fosgate 350 watt amp 175X2 running with 2 Kicker CR's (the black ones with the yellow emblem in the middle) and my amp overheated 10 minutes after so the subs cut....

Thanks in advance

You would be wasting your money.

No way for us to know. Hook it up, try it out and see how your electrical system handles it. There are FAR too many variables for us to give you a yes or no answer. You're just going to have to try it.

No.....other than you MIGHT not be powering the subs to their full potential.

Okay ? That wasn't the result of the amp being too large for the subs or too small for the subs. Probably either installed in a poor location where the amp couldn't sufficiently cool itself, or an improper setting on the amplifier (such as poor gain setting, too much bass boost, etc). Or, the amp may have just had a problem from the manufacturer
