Input sensitivity?

I just recieved a new amp and it has a pot for Input sensitivity voltage I believe and its range is from .6 to 6 volts.

So what is this? My Kenwood HU has 5 volt pre outs. So do I set this for 5 volts? And if so how do I know where to turn it so its set for 5 volts?

the input sensitivity is just a fancy word for gain set it the same way you would set your gains via the gain setting tutorial

Yeah it is the gain, read the gain setting tutorial in the amplifier section.

Oh ****, My amp doesnt have a Gain setting it has an Input sensitivity setting. Thanks guys. **** German guys I guess.
