Input/output voltage?

I was thinking. My hu has 5volts out which means at full volume. I putting out 5 volts. Theoretically.

Now if I run my hu to a dsp with say a 3 volt input ability and a 2 volt output. I know that even after I cross that 3 volt input threshold, Im still getting louder. I think.

How does the 2 volt come out. Is it like at 50% hu volume. The dsp would be putting out 1 volt or....??

With a DSP

Your source preout voltage is controlling the DSPs preout voltage.

It's telling it to add or take away.

When you set the levels in the DSP you match the amp to that.

That's how we adjust output levels with a DSP and no 3v is not low. I only have 2v and it's perfectly fine. A noisy amp will be a noisy amp

Wait hold up, the dsp gains need to be set like u would with an amp? I been having a problem myself with output from dsp going to my amp.
