what do you guys think of this radio?

the main reason i want it is because of ipod adaptable and dvd options and whatnot

i'm asking input on SQ though

it look kind old school to me...for sq..im not sure since i never own a jvc

anyway..remember u pay for what u get...high price is better

why not go with one that has a screen..so you dont have to purchase separately

is $230 your budget? if not what is your budget? I doubt you will get good SQ out of any companies DVD/CD in dash even the alpines arent that great. if you have an ipod why do you need the CD player to play DVD's? do you have a screen somewhere in your car? I would run an external DVD player before I would sacrifice SQ for a unit that plays DVD's and CD's.

and just because the unit is more expensive does not always mean it is better. there are alot of good functioning head units that in pretty much every price range.

yeah 200 dollars is my budget, because i can get it from another website for 200, i just showed crutchfield because it's a lot more informative

i know it's going to be another 50 for the ipod adapter

i just thought that it'd be sweet to have moniter's/dvd's

and realistically, if i were to bring a ps2, the dvd in the HU wouldn't matter

but in that case, what head unit would you recomend between 100-200 dollars that's ipod adaptable? not dvd playable

get a used alpine HU... they go for 70-120 bucks all the time on ebay.

use an AI-net to RCA adapter for your ipod. from the ipod use either a mini plug to RCA cable, or make your own ipod dock donnector to RCA cable.
