O and to get back on subject. I heard that Stetsom isnt going to make the 7k2d or the 10k anymore. I heard that both amps will be replaced with the 9k2d and then of course the 14k amps

Just wondering what you guys thought of these amps for spl applications.
Does anyone have any test results that they would be willing to share?

10k's are Stetsoms nicest amps (that I've seen). They use good quality parts and are extremely powerful.

However, these amps are put together sloppy, the hold downs are extremely close to the part legs. The traces to the power supply are weak on one side and over built on the other. As far as reliability goes, I wouldn't trust to to work for a long time. They do make and a ton of power and use quality parts, however they have no idea how to put it together right. I wouldn't trust for a long period of time. And yes I have seen the inside of them and worked on them.
