input on 2 12's

Looking for 2 12's that will handle 1100w @ 1 ohm, sound great and get really loud in 1.1-1.3 cubes sealed. They will be powered by a memphis 16-mcd1000.

About a 60/40 mix sq/spl

Budget is around 400. Back of a 99 firebird.

Give me some opinions.

I was thinkin of idq's but have never heard em. I heard some cvx's but I don't believe that is the best sq I can get. Btw they will be ran with hertz hsk165's active and some hertz 6x9's.

I'd get a single Fi Q 12" if I were to be running it off that amp.

2.5Ft^3 @ 30-33 Hz running off 1100 should get nice, loud, and low.

You COULD get two cheaper subs... but get a Fi Q 12" with the BP option ($300 from Fi http://www.ficaraudio.com) and you'll be good.

pair of 12" SEs sealed with that power should be clean and bump pretty hard. i can definaly see a low 140 sealed in your Fbody
