dude, you can still get yer money back
that happened to me when i bout a w3..
said it word, came to me, coil fried..
study the guys, if the amp is blown in the guts, he ****ed up, if its not, then ups ****ed it up durring transit, and insurance will cover it..
i got my cash back on the w3 3 weeks after i bought the **** sucker..
just do some research.. you can get him for mail fraud =]
the sad thing is, ppl can say anything, they WILL belive him, he will jus say what he said to you, it work when it left, not my prob, he prolly blew it him self..

i didnt read it all but the first few posts but i really hate to tell you but you are shit out of luck, i got my amp from volstitan908 and the amp was doa and they told me they wouldnt do shit because he sent me an amp..sorry to say
if it makes you feel better i recently bought a cell phone on ebay he sent it it was listed"brand new"got it it was dead on arrival and looked refurbished i told him it didnt work, sent it back to him, they tested it, sent it back to me telling me it works. It didnt. I sent it back again he refunded me but only 114$ otu of 151 which is really pissing me off right now

all you have to do is file a dispute with paypal, and they will put a negative balance in there acct. he has the option to give you a full refund or give you can escalate it to a paypal rep. 9 time out of 10, they will give you your money back. cool thing is, if he ever had anymore sales threw paypal, that - balance will still be in effect. contact paypal. I would go ahead and go straight to a rep.

I bought a reciver once from one of the big basically flea market store, have tons of used shit. Well it came in and it would trun on then right back off. I sent the place an email and of course they brought up the no returns thing. Well it stated the item worked. SO I filed a claim with paypal and notified ebay. THe next day they sent me an email to ship it back and they refunded me my money plus ship. If it says it works and you get it and it doesnt then notify ebay of it.

Pay with a credit card on PayPal. You can always go to your CC company and have the charge rescinded.
Look carefully at the auction terms. If they say NO RETURNS, don't buy there if that is a problem for you and go buy from a seller with a return policy in place. If they offer insurance, it's up to them to make the claim, which means ask questions beforehand to see how communicative and cooperative they are in case problems should develop down the road.
Check the seller's feedback to see if the negs are from stupid whiny buyers (plenty of those out there) or those with legit complaints as well as what responses, if any, were made after the original feedback was posted. Also check the "Feedback withdrawn" number to see if it is a high number as that indicates a seller who engages in retaliatory feedback.
I've bought tons of stuff on eBay, Yahoo and other sites over the last 9 years. 1% of all the deals have had problems. I can live with a 99% success rate! Be an informed and intelligent buyer to make the best of these marketplaces.

dude, pop it open and take a look. i recently sent an amp that was working when it left and didnt when it arrived. Buyer opened it up and i guess the journey had bumped things a little bit and he just had to resolder something and now it works. These things definantly happen, and i package the shit out of my stuff.
I have to say that sucks.. BUT, also i have to say that the amount of feedback someone has has nothing to do with thier integrity. I only have 2 good feed back, both positive ofcourse.. Next time ask for escrow to protect yourself, if they arent willing to do it id tell them to get bent and lick a butthole.
