I buy a car audio part from a dealer with a good rep 99% sold 20,000+ items.

I buy it now. Pay right away thru paypal.

The part is shipping out of the same city I live in.

I have been waiting over a week (7 business days).

I contact the seller and ask WHATHEDILLYO?!

Guy tells me that when I paid with paypal it didn't include the $9 in taxes..

So they didn't bother to ship it out.. They didn't bother to refund the paypal and they didn't even try to contact me..

So I ask the guy what can we do to fix this..

He says.. "Nothing, I guess we will send you a refund."

So I respond and say.. "Ok but I still need the part."

His response?

"Too bad."

And i've been waiting 2 business days for a refund.. So I had to file a claim today..

i thought ebay added all the taxes and shipping in the invoice that the seller sends to you after the auction is over.......sounds like he didnt get what he wanted , so he made up a stupid excuse to get out of selling it...

i say give him some negative feedback....after you get your refund...

Just tell him you'll drive there and pick it up. And then tell him you're gonna drive down regardless and piihb if he refuses.

same thing happened to a friend of mine. bought a buy now item, waited 3 weeks and the guy never shipped. we emailed him, he replied "i took your money, now get over it. be good, comb your hair." so we filed a claim, got his money back in a few days.

i have no idea why the dude would say he stole our money, some people, just dont get them.

The guy said no local pickups.. That's so he can over charge to ship the thing for $25..

It said pay now so I did.. The auction said.. "Paypal will add the required taxes".. Not my fault they don't have their paypal setup correctly..

I'll definitely neg him..
